By accessing or using the Treat platform (website, mobile app, or related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors.
Treat is a technology platform that connects patients with independent healthcare professionals for on-demand appointments. Treat is not a healthcare provider. Healthcare professionals on our platform are independent contractors responsible for their own professional conduct, licensing, and care standards.
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using Treat, you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 may use the platform only under parental or guardian supervision.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Treat is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account.
When you book an appointment through Treat, you enter into a service agreement with the healthcare professional. Payment is processed securely through our platform. Cancellation policies vary by service — please review them before booking.
Treat charges a platform fee for facilitating bookings. All prices displayed are inclusive of GST where applicable.
Professionals on Treat must maintain valid registrations, insurance, and qualifications for their speciality. By joining Treat, professionals agree to uphold all applicable professional standards and codes of conduct.
Treat reserves the right to remove professionals from the platform at any time for conduct violations, patient safety concerns, or breach of these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Treat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform. Treat's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
All content on the Treat platform — including logos, text, images, and software — is owned by Treat or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Auckland, New Zealand.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
